Another Friday, another brunch. It's a hard life isn't it! This week our venue of choice was Latitude, Jumeirah Beach hotel. At 430dhs (or 550dhs with Moet), it's at the more expensive end of the Dubai brunch spectrum but, fortunately, there is a 2 for 1 voucher in each Entertainer book, which made our bill seem much less scary!

I felt like there was something for everyone at this brunch. Under 21s are allowed so there were a lot of families there, with cereal, pizza and juggling entertainment for the kids. Meanwhile, the jazz band and variety of cooking stations - Asian, Middle Eastern, seafood, roast beef, made-to-order pasta, cheeses, salads... all the usuals - ensured that every adult was catered for. Our group of seven 20-something girls was thoughtfully placed next to the cocktail station, meaning strawberry mojitos and tequila sunrises were  (dangerously) just an arms length away and we were perfectly content!

All in all, it was a dreamy Friday and I would definitely recommend Latitude (although perhaps not at full price) for a sophisticated, relaxed Dubai brunch. We carried on the afternoon with a post-brunch session back at one of our houses, singing along to the likes of Madonna, Destiny's Child and Peter Andre at the top of our lungs. Very stereotypical, but what do you expect when you put seven girls and 4 hours of cocktail drinking together!
